1. About These Terms

These Terms govern your use of the DevelopFilm iOS app and this website. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple-branded devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms and these Terms.

3. Subscriptions & Billing

• Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple via the App Store. We do not receive your full payment details.
• Free trials (if offered) convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.
• Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone/iPad Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds and billing issues are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

4. Content & Storage

• Your journal entries and photos are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backups (e.g., device/iCloud backups).
• You must have rights to any photos/content you store in the app and must not infringe third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it to violate laws or third-party rights.

6. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Developing times and calculations are best-effort guidance; you remain responsible for your process and results.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes may be announced in-app or via the App Store. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you also retain any mandatory protections under your local consumer laws.
