Summary
- No account, no analytics, no ads.
- Your weather data stays on your device. We do not collect, store or track location history.
- Weather data is fetched directly from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). We do not operate our own servers.
- Contact-only data. If you email us, your email is used only to reply and support you.
Data We Process
- Location (optional): Only used to show local weather if you grant permission. The location stays on the device and is not stored by us.
- Weather data: Fetched from Apple Weather via WeatherKit. Apple may process queries per their privacy policies.
- Support emails: If you contact us, we process your email and message to respond.
On-Device Storage
The app may store last-known weather data and widget configuration locally on your device. This data is not sent to us.
Security
The app uses iOS sandboxing. We do not run any backend servers for KelvinWeather.
Legal Bases (GDPR/EEA/UK)
- Legitimate Interests: providing app functionality, weather display, and support responses.
- Legal Obligation: retaining settlement details provided by Apple (e.g., tax/accounting requirements).
Retention
- On-device data: remains until you uninstall the app or delete the data manually.

KelvinWeather is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.
International Transfers
We are based in Germany. Email and App Store purchase data may be processed by Apple entities globally. Apple’s processing is governed by their own terms.

GDPR (EEA/UK/CH): You can request access, correction, deletion (where applicable) and portability. For App Store data, Apple provides its own privacy tools.
California (CPRA): We do not “sell” or “share” personal data. You may request access or deletion for any support emails we hold.
